We invite all people to join in the Great Commission to help the people of Africa come to know Christ and develop as true disciples of our Lord and thereby become Great Commission Christians. While not everyone can go to all nations, there are things that every Christian can do to facilitate that process. These are some of the ways you may choose to help.

Partnership through PRAYER

Pray that the great nation of Zambia will be reached for Christ in our generation.

Pray for Zambian believers; that they may grow spiritually to truly become Great Commission Christians.

Pray for the basic needs of the Zambians such as food, water, clothing and shelter.

Pray for the health of the Zambian people.

Pray for Zambia’s national leadership to continue to provide opportunities to preach the Gospel in both private and public.

Pray for Dickson Kasongo, acting Emmaus National Coordinator, and other Emmaus leaders. Pray that God will give them energy and stamina, good health and protection for themselves and their families.

Pray for the supply line of discipleship courses. Pray that God will keep the material secure and grant favor and protection as it is moved into and throughout Zambia. Discipleship material is shipped to Zambia from Germany.

Pray for missionaries Glenn and Geri Erwin as they move to Zambia, get established and conduct the work of the ministry there -
• Effectiveness in ministry
• Safety and provision in every area of daily life

Pray for Jericho Road Ministries -
• That God will give wisdom to the officers and directors as they manage and facilitate the discipleship work in Zambia.
• That God will supply the needed financial support for discipleship material as the work multiplies across Zambia.
• That God will supply needed volunteers.

Pray for wisdom, strength and direction for Eddie Napps as he serves as President of JRM and National Director of the Emmaus work in Zambia.

Pray that doors will be opened to carry the Emmaus Discipleship Training to other English speaking nations of Africa.

Partnership through FINANCIAL SUPPORT

  • • Funds needed to purchase a container and ship 200,000 Emmaus Discipleship Courses to Zambia in early 2007.
    • Funds needed for two mission trips for ministry team to travel to remote areas of Zambia for graduation services, training and delivery of discipleship material.
    • Funds needed for gift of fellowship for Zambian National Coordinator and local part-time staff.
    • Funds needed to pay expenses for production of training materials, web site production and printed materials.
    • Support for full-time missionary couple to direct leadership training throughout the nation.
